There are many reasons for daytime fatigue; it is one of the most common complaints. Here are the most common reasons for daytime fatigue and what you can do to get your energy back and stop being so tired.

One of the most common reasons for daytime fatigue is poor sleep patterns. We live in such a busy and hectic world that mental stress is very common and it’s main side effect is insomnia. The solution to this problem is to reduce stress so you can get a better nights sleep and stop daytime fatigue.

The easiest way to reduce stress is through guided meditation audios that you can listen to in the evening. They will help you to relax so you will be able to get a good nights sleep. They can also reduce the threshold for your stress so that stress will not affect you quite as much.

Clear Your Mind - Eliminate Another Reason For Daytime Fatigue

If you do have trouble falling asleep, clear your mind and focus only on your breathing. Your mind will wander back to your problems, but just refocus on your breathing and soon you will be asleep.

Stick to the same routine every day - including weekends - go to bed at the same time - wake up at the same time - eat and exercise at the same time. Adding thirty minutes of exercise each day will help you fight daytime fatigue and will also help you sleep better at night. Brisk walking is one of the best exercises that you can do. Try it during your lunch hour for a quick energy boost.

Poor Diet - Another Reason For Daytime Fatigue

Another major reason for daytime fatigue is poor diet. You can increase your energy and reduce fatigue by eliminating processed foods and replacing them with fresh natural foods. Foods which give you energy are lean proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole grains.

Processed foods are harder for your system to digest and will deplete your energy. Try eating five or six smaller meals instead of three large ones. Eating a healthy diet and avoiding junk food and sodas will help you stop daytime fatigue and create lots of energy.

Another reason for daytime fatigue is dehydration. Our bodies can’t function properly without enough fluids. Drinking water flushes the toxins from our body. Try to drink at least one glass of pure water each hour.

Chlorine has also been found to cause fatigue. Make sure that you are drinking filtered water and that you have a shower filter installed on your shower.

Have you ever noticed that when you are having fun you are never tired? This is a clue to include more fun activities in your life. Having fun is a natural energizer. Studies have shown that a majority of people who suffer from chronic fatigue also suffer from depression or anxiety. Take time out to participate in activities that you enjoy and you will find that your daytime fatigue will lessen.

Now that you know the major reasons for daytime fatigue, you can change your lifestyle to incorporate healthier eating, reducing stress, drinking more water and adding more fun activities.
