Interval training on mini trampolines (rebounders) not only burns lots of fat and calories, but it also gives you additional health benefits. Rebounding will boost your metabolism and increase lymphatic circulation which helps rid your body of toxins.
Using interval training on mini trampolines increases the fat and calorie burn and will quickly tone your body. It is an exercise that even beginners can enjoy. It’s fun and never boring.
With interval training you will be performing three minutes of low intensity exercises and one minute of high intensity exercise - and repeating this cycle - low intensity - high intensity.
When exercising on a mini trampoline you will be using muscle groups that you don’t normally use. I suggest that you start out slow and work your way up. Five to ten minutes to begin with should be enough for the first week. You can slowly build your routine up to perform the twenty minute routine below.
Interval Training On Mini Trampolines - For Beginners
Beginning Interval Training On Mini Trampolines - Twenty Minute Routine
Warm up Segment- Stand on the mini trampoline with your feet hip width apart - keep your feet remaining flat on the mat and start to gently bounce (don’t lift your feet off the mat). Do this gentle bounce for two minutes.
Low Intensity Segment- Begin to bounce a little harder - your feet should now come off the mat. Don’t bounce too high for this low intensity segment. Bounce for three minutes.
High Intensity Segment - Jump up and down as fast as you can for one minute. This segment should be really intense.
Alternate between the low and high intensity sets for sixteen minutes (four sets).
Cool Down Segment - Go back to the gentle bounce you did in the warm up - remember to keep your feet flat on the mat as you bounce. Cool down for two minutes.
You will find that using an interval timer that you can clip on your clothing makes it easier to perform interval training. You simply set the timer for the intervals you want and it will beep to tell you when to change your intensity level.
Mix It Up - Interval Training On Mini Trampolines
Once you get stronger, you can make your interval training sessions longer and incorporate a variety of exercises.
Mix up your routine with different exercises such as jogging, dancing, jumping jacks, twisting or marching.
You will never get bored using your mini trampoline.
There are so many different exercises you can do.
For interval training on mini trampolines you need to keep switching between low and high intensity movements.
Be sure to include your warm up and cool down - they are important.

Can i get a regular exercise routine on trampoline?
Hi,
I have one of these and occasionally use it. I will start again. What's so great about using the mini trampoline is you can watch morning TV at the same time. If I don't exercise in the morning I would never do it. Thanks.
I just finished my first rebounding session and it was such fun!
I just purchased a mini trampoline. I'm excited to use it, and will definitely take your interval workout into account!
Awesome. I love my trampoline, worthwhile investment..
Patti Ann, really neat concept.
Great article, I exercise daily and have a few pieces of equipment, maybe that's what I should ask for for Christmas, a mini trampoline.
I have a mini trampoline and I love the workout I get. These are great tips to incorporate and I appreciate that you reminded us to warm up and cool down, I tend to forget that - thanks.
