Nice hub, but if the desired effect is weight-loss, then you might want to avoid advising people to "eat more often", unless you suggest foods that cooperate within this kind of regimen. Such as big, crunchy, fresh green salads and essential fatty acids. Raw foods and alkalizing drinks. Sprouting whatever you can is also an excellent way to get the live enzymes so critical to an optimal height/weight ratio.

One of the main reasons many people do not eat wheat is because of the high gluten content which they are told is not naturally tolerable by the vast majority. However, this is merely a single dimension claim which ignores other causes, such as the fact that much of government controlled agrobusiness has been employing unsafe, and largely unproven, GMO (genetically modified organizms) technology for decades despite the fact that it was illegal. GMO tecniques typically insert various foreign proteins into the genes and cells of the wheat (to create more resilient varieties) that are not properly digestible by the human body, and thus manifest a whole host of health problems. Everything from mild nausea and rash (or hives), to respiratory distress and even death, as was common in the 70s when it killed millions of people in third world coutries that received it as government surplus. GMO is a military baby.

It is best to eat Spelt, which originated in Himalayan regions and is renoun for its cell building properties and low gluten content...and it is delicious. It comes either in whole grain form, rolled like oats or milled. You can typically get it at Whole Foods stores, or your neiborhood health-food coop.

Furthemore, if you really want to lose weight fast, then buy a vegetagle juicer and make green juice. It is high in protein, vitamins and minerals; alkalizes your body and will give you incredible energy and strength. Kale, collard greens and parsely are three excellent ingredients. If it is too bitter for you, then add some carrots or apple, but keep the sugar content as low as possible. The fructooligosacharrides in the greens are plenty sugar enough, and more readily assimilated. This kind of supplement to a healthy diet, low in saturated fats will shed quick pounds and hydrate your body and skin (returning lost elasticity). It also oxygenates your blood and speeds healing.

Thanks - the main reasons for not eating wheat - most wheat products (bread, crackers, other baked goods) are processed foods that aren't as nutritional as whole grain foods (oatmeal, barley, brown rice). The more whole, natural and unprocessed foods you eat, the more nutrition you give your body. Also, many people are allergic to wheat which causes bloating and other problems.
