A garden hose storage pot is an excellent way to store your garden hose. It eliminates an unsightly hose cluttering up your yard. They keep your hose safely stored so you don’t trip over it when walking through your yard.

There are many different styles, sizes and materials available in garden hose storage pots. The most popular is the copper hose pot.

It adds a touch of elegance to your yard and is a very practical way to store your hose.

The idea of the hose pot is simple - coil your hose up and place it inside.

They look like a flower pot and hide the tangled mess of hose that is usually seen in people’s yards.

The garden hose pots are designed with a hole in the side so that your hose can stay connected to your outside faucet.

They also have drainage holes in the bottom of the pot so the water won’t pool up inside.

You will find garden hose pots that will hold a variety of hose sizes - starting at 50 feet and going up to 150 feet.

A garden hose storage pot keeps your hose nicely coiled up - no more tangled mess of hose - it makes it so easy to use your hose when necessary.

Garden Hose Storage Pots - Many To Choose From

Copper hose pots are the most common type on the market. They are also the most expensive type, but they will last for many years and are worth the investment.

They do change colors over the years, but they still look very elegant.

The brass garden hose storage pot is also a very popular choice. These are almost as expensive as the copper pots and they will endure over the years just like the copper ones.

Another good hose pot option is a weather resistant fiberglass model. They are very reasonably priced and will also hold up well for many years.

The resin wicker garden hose pots are a favorite of homeowners that have outside wicker furniture. They blend in well with your outside decor especially if they are used in the same area.

Garden Hose Storage Pot - With Or Without A Lid

You can also choose a garden hose storage pot with a lid or without a lid.

Although the lids are not necessary, some people prefer that their garden hoses be completely covered so they are not seen at all.

When choosing a garden hose storage pot, you should try and pick one that looks good with the exterior look of your house.

You can choose a matching color or one that looks like stonework or terra cotta that compliments your home.

Many people use one hose pot in the front yard and a different style one in the back yard.

Whichever garden hose storage pot you choose, it will be sure to add a touch of elegance to the look of your home.

Hi Springboard! Yes, sometimes the simplest ideas are the best. I love the look of these pots.

Sometimes winding up the hose on a regular caddy or wall mounted reel can be a bit of a pain instead of a help, especially when they start to wear out and it gets harder and harder to wind. Having that problem as we speak actually. I kind of like this simple idea. Do it the old fashioned way. Roll it up and cover it up.

Hello WealthMadeHealthy! I have also had those winders - they come in handy and keep your yard a lot less cluttered.

What a cute idea! I have a garden hose "winder" . It seems that when you have several hundred feet of hose to get to the garden from the house spicket, winding it all up makes it easier....and then you just roll it away to wherever you store it. But if I had a small area, this would be the way to go!

Great hub!!

Hello KoffeeKlatchgals! You are so right - I can't count the number of times I tripped over mine before I bought a hose pot.

What a great idea to base a hub on. Most people don't think of things like garden hose storage until they have tripped over their hose a dozen times or so. Great hub.
